In an effort to improve the Map of Irish Wetlands a number of new wetland sites, additional habitat data on selected sites (in particular turloughs and raised bogs), and site photographs have been added to the Wetland Map for Counties Kerry, Kilkenny, Mayo, Meath, Tipperary, Sligo, Limerick and Longford.
The Wetland Map of Ireland now displays a total of 8,650 wetland sites for Ireland.
