Projects

Wetland Surveys Ireland’s partners have undertaken a wide variety of projects, some examples of which are presented below.  For further information on selected projects and to download final reports, where available, please follow the Project Details link.

Wetland Surveys Ireland’s projects include those that are development led such as Environmental Impact Assessments for national road projects, infrastructural projects and renewable energy developments.

Other projects include those that aid local community groups with an interest in conserving locally important habitats and biodiversity. We undertake a variety of conservation based surveys and monitoring, including recent projects identifying and assessing wetland habitat in Monaghan and monitoring the condition of Red Grouse Habitat throughout Ireland.
