Longford’s Wetlands
To coincide with National #WaterHeritageDay, and to celebrate their great wetlands, County Longford have just published a new online story map entitled: Longford's Wetlands - A story map about wetland habitats in County Longford.
The story map was written and created by Mary Catherine Gallagher and Patrick Crushell from Wetland Surveys Ireland, with photography by Peter Foss.
The online story map features lots of information about the type and location of wetlands found in County Longford, their importance to our wildlife and our own health and includes a wetlands to visit section.
